About Me
Hello, my name is Tanya Lee. I am a photographer, dog lover, and animal trainer. I have been doing animal training for more than 20 years and photography for 8 years. I decided to pursue photography as a hobby several years ago, after I lost my heart dog suddenly at the age of 10 and realized I had only a handful of decent pictures of her. I swore that would never happen again.
Because of my extensive experience with training, I read each pet and have developed a style for candid photos that captures the essence of who the pet is. The best compliment I receive is when an owner tells me I brought out their pet's spirit, character and personality in an image. My biggest pleasure is to be able to capture the soul of the senior pet. Our time with these amazing creatures is fleeting and there is no need to regret that you didn't schedule a session to capture forever the memory of such a cherished animal. I also enjoy capturing the connection between an animal and their human, showing the special, loving bond they share.
If you would like to be in a few pictures with your pet, please feel free to let me know. I do take special requests...a certain pose, a special location, just let me know and we can work out any details. I shoot outdoors in natural light, as I believe that is the best medium to showcase your pet. I can shoot at a variety of locations local to me and will travel if there is a group of individuals who want photoshoots. I shoot at agility trials across the southern US and am willing to go almost anywhere there is enough interest.
Do not put off having a session with your pet, young or old. You will never regret having the pictures and the memories.
